About Roosevelt County Court Docket

Roosevelt County court dockets and records are held by several custodians. The District Court clerk keeps District files, the Magistrate and municipal clerks keep their own records, and New Mexico Case Lookup provides a statewide public search layer. This private reference resource identifies the official routes, local counters, and access limits that matter when locating a docket or court setting.

Why We Built This Site

New Mexico provides public access to many court records, but Roosevelt County cases do not all sit in one office. A docket is the running record of filings, parties, events, and settings. The Roosevelt County District Court Clerk’s Office holds District Court files, while the Magistrate Court, Portales Municipal Court, Elida Municipal Court, and the County Clerk have different roles. New Mexico Case Lookup helps locate public case information; it does not replace the filing court’s official record. The pages here bring those distinctions, contact paths, and request options together.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are located and read in Roosevelt County
  • Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
  • Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
  • Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, with no connection to a New Mexico court, clerk, or agency. Its role is informational, and it has clear limits:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk or court that maintains a case can provide its official or certified docket sheet or record. The correct document must come from that custodian.

Search Partners

Some pages include search tools operated by third parties. Those providers control their services, prices, data practices, and results. A paid sign-up resulting from a tool may generate a referral fee for this resource. That relationship does not make a search result official, complete, or current.
